Frequently asked questions
How do I log a new brew?
Open the Record tab, enter your tea and parameters, then tap Save. Required fields include tea name, grams, water temperature, water amount, and steep time.
How does Compare work?
Go to Compare, choose a tea, and select 2–4 brew logs. Tap Compare to see a full side-by-side breakdown. You can export the result to Photos (HD export uses coins).
Why does the app ask about tracking?
On the Home tab, iOS may show Apple’s Allow Tracking dialog (App Tracking Transparency). We ask while your answer is still pending. After you choose Allow or Ask App Not to Track, the system dialog will not appear again unless you reset permission in Settings.
Where is my data stored?
All brew logs, photos, and voice notes stay on your device. Use Me → Clear All Data to remove everything. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Brew reminders
On a brew detail or compare result screen, turn on Brew Reminder, pick a schedule, and tap Set Reminder. Allow notifications when iOS asks.
Coins & HD export
Standard comparison export is free. HD export costs coins, which you can purchase in the Me tab via Apple In-App Purchase. Coin balance is stored locally on your device.
Something isn’t working
Try force-quitting and reopening the app, or restart your device. If the issue continues, email us with your iOS version, device model, and steps to reproduce the problem.
